Introduction | I'm a PhD student at the University of New England (the one in Australia). I a wildlife ecologists and from Poland to Australia to study interactions between dingoes (or wild dogs) and native mammals in Australia. I am trying to understand what happens to native mammals when dingoes are lethally and non-lethally controlled. I am particularly interested in a hot topic of "landscape of fear", that is indirect effects predators have on their prey when they don't kill it. I am also a great enthusiast of technology and I advocate for open source approach in scientific research. I use open source software and hardware in my research and encourage others to do so. In my spare time I play some music, fly various RC devices (or, as people like to call them now, "drones") and try to visit interesting places around Australia and beyond. |
