| Introduction | The Western Kentucky University College Republican Chapter was founded in 1959 by J. Marshall Hughes and C. B. Embry. The two gentlemen sought out Ray B. White to serve as the first advisor to the organization. The primary goal of WKU College Republicans is promote student participation in the political process at the local, state, and national levels. |
