| Introduction | My name is Zane Smith. I am 7 years old, born June 23, 2003. I am in 2nd grade going to Lundy E.S. There are only 18 kids in the entire school. My family lives in Mt. Charleston. They are the mountains outside of Las Vegas, NV. I like to go outside and ride my bike everyday. I also like to play with my friends outside. It is nice when it is quiet in school, so that I can do my work. When I was 6 yrs old, I did my first triathalon, and got 3rd place in my age group. Swimming was hard, biking was easy, and running was easy too. I want to do it again next year so that I can get 1st. My goal is to summit Mount Everest when I am 12. I want to be the youngest person to climb to the top. When I am at the top, I will be proud of myself. I know that it is going to be hard to get to the top, but I know that I can do it. As my mom helps me with this blog, I hope that you will follow me to my goal. I will tell my mom my feelings and thoughts over the next 5 years, as I plan to get to Everest. I am very excited and nervous about hiking Mount Everest. The only thing that I can do, is to try my best, and never give up. |
