Introduction Sergey Dmitriev is interested in developing productive relations between academic institutions, students and business organizations. He writes 'Ad-hoc Education' blog about events, projects and other initiatives related to vital educational activities in Russia. For the last three years Sergey worked for EMC Corp. as University Relations Coordinator building up internship and academic ecosystem support programmes for EMC St. Petersburg Development Center. Previously he hold engineering and analyst positions in Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks. In 2007 co-founded Mathlingvo initiative - community for computational linguistics in Russia. Since 2010 member of 'IT Education in Russia' Conference Programm Committee. Awards: EMC Most Valuable Player Award, 2009; All-Russian intellectual projects contest ‘Derzhava 2006’ laureate; North-West Russian innovation projects contest ‘Innovation 2006’ laureate; President of the Russian Federation Fellowship, 2002 Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, 1981. Graduated with honors, master degree in Radiophysics from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunication in 2003.
