| Introduction | I love baking since schooling time. Home Economics lesson is the only time I get to bake since I do not have an oven at home. When my husband and I got our own flat, he bought an Ariston oven, built in at our very own kitchen. We tried baking years ago,cookies,pandan chiffons ,etc. However, we didn’t manage to get the pandan cake right. After several failed attempts, I gave up baking,completely. Years passed…I have 2 kids now, girl age 4 & boy, 20 months. Due to too much idling, the oven caused a power trip each time we tried to bake fish or chicken. It was until last October that I started to bake again after an electrician’s help.From then on,I bake whenever possible,while the kids were having their nap or late at night.Sometimes, I even took leave to bake! It’s not easy when my son is at the little ‘koala bear’ stage. I am glad to find so many passionate bakers on the website. I got a lot of advices/tips from these experts. Most of my bakes here were taken from their blogs and look forward to more bakes! Guess my husband will have a tougher time in his effort to slim down! |
