| Introduction | About me? Aw shucks, you don't wanna hear all about li'l ol me, do ya? Well, shoot, pull up a stump and hunker a spell and I'll tell ya all ya need to know. But then again, if I may switch idioms for a moment, what can I say about myself that hasn't already been said much better in the pages of such august publications as "The San Francisco Yellow Pages," "Who's Who (Lurking Over Yonder)," "The Springfield Shopper," "WTF Weekly" and a succession of increasingly frantic and needlessly histrionic restraining orders? Haven't we all heard enough about my introspective years as a door-to-door lobster salesman in Arkansas, my brief stint as head of Oregon's first Minstrel Camp, and my controversial appearance on the short-lived game show, "Who Wants To Stomp Regis Philbin"? I say to you, my hunkering compadre, let us discuss you instead. That scar on your nose speaks of daring, moonlit adventures on the high seas, or perhaps ill-advised grooming practices -- pray, do spin a yarn for us. |
