| Introduction | After 30 years in practice, mostly in Long Beach, California within a multi-specialty group of (chiropractic, medical pain management, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, internal medicine, physical therapy and acupuncture), I made a change to academia. While still involved in clinical practice, I now oversee a residency program for chiropractic doctors within an integrative teaching clinic which is part of a not-for-profit educational institution, Southern California University of Health Sciences. Offering chiropractic care, acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine and interventional pain management (joint rejuvenation with PRP and stem cell injections), we specialize in the management of acute and chronic pain. I have a special interest in applying Paleolithic Dietary principles in the management of chronic pain because of the anti-inflammatory nature of the diet. As a bonus, patients who reduce inflammation with Paleolithic Dietary changes usually report significant improvements in general health status. |
