| Introduction | Hi, I’m Misty Rae, a writer, nature guide-in-training, and lifelong storyteller. I’ve been leaving breadcrumbs since childhood—little traces of memory, language, and wonder scattered in journals, letters, and forest trails. Mist Connections is the most recent version of a dream I’ve carried for decades: to create a project that reflects who I am at my core—curious, creative, deeply rooted in nature, and committed to gentle reconnection in a disconnected world. Through writing, guiding, and everyday presence, I seek to rebuild relationship—with land, with community, and with the quiet self I sometimes lose in the noise. This blog is a personal trail: reflections on burnout and rewilding, motherhood and memory, healing and homecoming. It’s imperfect, evolving, and deeply mine. And if anything here resonates with you—well, maybe we’re already walking part of the same path. |
