Introduction | I'm Chris, a London commuter who thinks a bit too much about cycling. I first took to the roads more than ten years ago, strangely enough, on the advice of my physiotherapist. I'd done in my knee partly through football, and partly in an incident involving dancing with a cushion (don't ask) and I snapped by anterior cruciate ligament. I had key-hole surgery but the physio basically said the best thing do was strengthen the muscles around my knee. And, cycling was a really good way of doing that. I've been on my bike ever since. And since you ask, yes, my muscles around my knees do feel quite strong, thanks. |
