| Introduction | Well, I've had my fair share of trials. I used to be a rock climber and backpacker until the dreaded year I got sick. In 2001, I served an LDS mission in Boston and got dreadfully sick. I saw docs for 7 yrs before we had any answers. I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2007, and I have been doing various treatments since then to get it into remission. We have been in Connecticut receiving the best possible treatment for Lyme for the past 2 yrs, but my husband also became ill and lost his job . We decided on a day when we were both crawling on the floor from our illnesses and trying to care for our 5-year-old, that it was time to come home to Utah to be with family. I started a tutu company to help pay the medical bills and it is so wonderful because it keeps my mind off of the pain. I have a wonderful husband that I married in 2005, and we had the most beautiful boy in 2006, and they both mean the world to me. How lucky am I? |
