| Introduction | My name is Lindsey and I've created this blog as a way for my husband, Bill and I, to share the story of our son's journey. Our son, Stephen Charles, was diagnosed with Autosommal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) at 27 weeks gestational age. He was born on January 4, 2011 and has proven to everyone that miracles do exist! He was given a very small chance at surviving past birth, but is now thriving and growing stronger everyday. It's been a very long journey up until this point and we know we still have a long road ahead of us, but we know that Stephen will perservere and grown up to be a strong, healthy, and happy child.
