Introduction	I split my time growing up between a small New England town in Connecticut and a booming Southern city, Charlotte, North Carolina. After ten years, I am still not a typical Southerner especially since I started college in Iowa and buzzed my hair. However, I still pick up an accent on occasion and believe that the term “y’all” is essential to the English language. Currently, I am a rising senior at Grinnell College in Iowa, am interning in Denver for the summer, and am off to Poland next fall.
