| Introduction | I was born in Georgia, grew up in South Carolina, and went to school in Tennessee. Some things I miss about that part of the country include, in no particular order: seasons; grits; colorful expressions such as, "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar;" sweet tea; fireflies, and the unapologetic deep frying of things. |
