| Introduction | I'm the mother of two rambunctious boys, and the wife to an absent-minded professor. I adore my men, but I simply can't keep up with them most of the time.
Why? Because I have Fibromyalgia. Mine is a case where my fatigue component is as strong as my pain component. It's not much fun. Guess what? I also suffer from frequent migraines; bad enough that, when one strikes, I have to isolate from my men, wear earplugs, and can stand only very dim light (25 watts). I don't get much time to myself when I'm not suffering pain of some sort, so when I do have those rare moments, I pursue what is left to me since I can't work...reading, scrapbooking, stamping and card-making, or any other types of crafts that appeal to me at the time. Now I want to reach out to others in my own way, by sharing what it's like for me as I move through life with these health issues slowing me down. |
