| Introduction | I am a lawyer turned jewelry designer and I represented children in family court in New York City for 10 years before giving in to my creative urge to become a jewelry designer. I was introduced to beading when a few of my colleagues in my law firm formed a beading group to relieve stress. After the first meeting, I was hooked. In the beginning, I was just beading after work and on the weekends, then I reduced my hours at the firm to part-time, then I took the leap and quit in order to pursue my passion full-time. Pam Branch Designs' jewelry is a reflection of the love and support that my family and friends have given me since I made the decision to turn my hobby into a business. I have named most of my lines after my family and friends. Whether the designs were wire-wrapped or soldered, whether they were adorned with semi-precious gems or glass, my designs have always been a reflection of the personalities and wit of those closest to me.
