Introduction Hi I'm Steve. I used to work in the electrical supply industry and then in a local government electrical department. About 2 years ago I decided to jack it all in as there wasn't enough time in the day to do the things that I actually enjoy doing. I'm now a happily "born again child" ( my wife's comment ) who loves playing with toy soldiers. I've been involved with English Civil War re enactment since I was 15yrs old. I started off as a Pikeman ( Very Rufty Tufty ) then tried being a Musketeer ( Very Noisy ) and finally became a Cavalry Trooper ( Very Dashing ) and eventually Colonel of my regiment ( Very Time Consuming ). For years I've played in various bands though currently I'm having a rest from that too. I first became interested in wargaming after a fellow musician introduced me to the hobby. I then introduced him to re enactment, which serves him right. I am a long time member of Sheffield Wargames Society and good pals with Tim and Martin.
Interests Miniature Wargaming, English Civil War Re enactment, WW2 Airsoft, Horse riding, Ballroom Dancing, Art, Photography, Playing Guitar - Mandolin - Bouzouki - Ukulele - Piano - Harmonika - Penny Whistle. Did I mention Harmonica? Going on lots of holidays.
