| Introduction | I currently run an independent Revit Consultancy providing training, advice, plug-ins and content for the AEC community in the UK. |
| Interests | Chris is the founder of http://revitfactory.com and currently works as a specialist BIM consultant. He trained as an Architectural Technologist and spent 10 years working in practice. During this time he also worked as a CAD Manager implementing standards at various practices. He studied at Sheffield Hallam University where he achieved 1st Class Honours and won the national award for Technical Excellence in Architectural Technology presented by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. He has since lectured at 2 Universities, worked as a BIM Manager for Aedas Architects and successfully deployed Revit throughout all ten UK offices. More recently he contributed the UK’s first freely distributable AEC (UK) BIM Standards in collaboration with other BIM specialists throughout the UK - soon to be released. He is also developing Revit Plugins to enhance productivity during the design process. Chris has experience working with multi-disciplinary teams collaborating with Revit in Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Food Retail, Transport, Civil, Defence and more.
