Introduction	My name is Kathryn and I am a teacher and aspiring metalsmith living in SE Michigan. I live with partner a guy who puts up with my quirkiness and a big orange tabbly who runs our household. I've been working with my hands since I picked up my crayons at a very young age. I love color. It lifts the spirits and can deeply affect us. About six years ago after beading for several years I was able to fulfill my desire to begin metalsmithing. Since then I've discovered the joy of working with precious metals, cabochons and gemstones and fire.
