Favorite movies	The Godfather Parts 1 & 2, The Princess Bride, Lord of The Rings Triology, The Usual Suspects, All the Harry Potter movies (to varying degrees)
Favorite music	I'm finally getting old - and the biggest sign of it is I just could care less about contemporary music. I think a lot of it has to do with having kids. I'm constantly look for music I can enjoy without having to worry about inappropriate lyrics or themes. And what I always seem to go back to is the music of my youth - pretty much any popular music made before 1980 sounds good to me these days. But I also love discovering new stuff when friends drag me kicking and screaming into it.
Favorite books	It's easier for me to list favorite authors than favorite books: Octavia Butler, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Hurston, Stephen King, Tolkien, JK Rowling, Kevin Henkes, Mo Willems
