| Introduction | I've been on the planet awhile. I have a short list of Favorites (my Jeep, my dog, a few good friends, some family, baked acorn squash with real butter), and a long list of things I just won't stand for. I don't care much for pretense, I don't impress easily, and I ask hard questions. But then LIFE asks hard questions. Go figure. I enjoy real beauty, and I find beauty in some of the strangest places. I appreciate courage, and a really good laugh. |
| Interests | Being human, staying alive, simple pleasures, finding joy, keeping love in my life, working with wood, plants, animals, the earth, and some people. I favor REAL spirituality, not platitudes, and I steer clear of people who stare and snicker. |
| Favorite movies | Mindwalk, Dances With Wolves, James Bond, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, What the Bleep Do We Know, A Beautiful Mind, the History Channel. Movies that make me think. Or, when I'm tired of thinking, the kind that are brainless where I don't have to think. |
| Favorite music | Some rock, some classical, some New Age, a little Western, some Gospel, and few kids tunes from years back. I swore off the real hard stuff years ago. And I love Bluegrass (thanks Mike). |
| Favorite books | Anything that is truly thoughtful, adds value to my life, or is really useful in some way. I despise mindless drivvle. |
