| Introduction | I'm 16 years old and a junior at Round Rock High School. I am taking ACC government as a dual credit course in order to get high school and college credit without sitting through the high school AP class and cramming for the AP exam. Although I wouldn't be taking this course if a government credit wasn't mandated by the state, I do truly hope to further my knowledge and horizons with this course. My political opinions are, like many teenagers my age, mostly based off my parents' views. The typology test puts me as an "Enterpriser", but I'm not sure how well I fit into the 77% male and 90% over thirty statistic. So along with the credit, I aim to acquire the beginnings of a foundation composed of concrete facts and a variety or view points in order to build my own informed political opinions. |
