| Introduction | I was born in the wilds of northwest Wisconsin. I joined the U.S. Coast Guard when I was 17, and had a great career. After I retired from military service, I became a software developer for a large snackfood company, by way of a string of temporary positions to keep myself busy until I decided what I really wanted to do. Now I'm fully retired but stay busy writing and working in my woodshop. |
