| Introduction | I grew up barefoot on the beaches of southeastern North Carolina where I met the love of my life. Soon after the saltwater got to my head I traded in my flip-flops for boots, packed my car with Grateful Dead cassette tapes, my yellow lab Willie P. Funk Nelson-Wigglesworth III and headed to the mountains of Colorado for some soul searching. Tiring of the hectic travel back and forth from CO to countless Widespread Panic shows to meet my love, I finally laid some roots in Floyd, VA where I married that boy. We have a beautiful daughter, Seyda and two Labrador Retrievers, who have no idea they are dogs. |
