IntroductionAlien8 ENT is an Independent Record Label committed to empowering artists with the knowledge, processes, and strategies necessary for success in the new music industry. Through the numerous advances in internet technology, artists now have the ability to reach potential fans on a global scale. Imagine that. We have the power to reach and interact with millions of people who share our vision, and there isn't a damn thing the major labels can do to stop us. Our goal is to effectively harness this power through careful planning and brilliant execution, ultimately targeting our niche market and building communities of loyal fans worldwide. This blog was created essentially as a running case study, a daily journal if you will, in order to document each step in our action plan while gathering valuable data from each process. Throughout the experiment, we'll be compiling the information we receive into a series of ebooks and passing the knowledge on to other artist and labels. It's up to us, as independents, to take advantage of the chaos in the industry by developing new ideals, new opportunities, and new processes for a NEW INDUSTRY. Power To The People ! Viva La Revolucion !
