| Introduction | I publish an independent music and art magazine: www.virago.com.. I sing and play bass in an indie band. I finally compiled almost 10 years of blogging here. I tend to make people laugh. Not sure if it is at me or with me, not sure if I'm much concerned. I like museums, wrestling matches and chinese massage parlors with the "happy ending". I want chocolate right now. I speak Chinese-Wu. I cry at every movie. Usually, it's because I feel an emotional connection, but sometimes it's because the movie is THAT bad, like "Hancock". I hate when people fail to yield, then go incredibly slow. I sing to my dog. I grew up on a converted apple-orchard with 7 willow trees and I broke my elbow climbing up one of them because my crew was planning our regular reenactment of "Grease" and I wanted to be "Sandy" for once, instead of that chubby strumpet, "Rizzo." I guess the lesson is don't try to be what you're not. In my case, a leggy, Australian blond who sings into an inflatable pool, because you will just get knocked up by John Travolta anyway and then he will leave you for some other chick and then you're stuck with Kinicki, who's going back to rehab, and a baby who cries all the time. |
