| Introduction | My family and I live in the beautiful West side of Michigan's lower pennisula, near Frankfort. I started collecting ancient Roman coins quite by accident. I was browsing e-bay and stumbled across some uncleaned Roman coins. I couldn't resist the urge to buy a batch. Once I had them in hand I was hooked. Most of my collection is made up of coins from uncleaned lots of coins. For a while I collected what ever caught my eye, without any real focus. Lately I have found my interest focused on coins of the Flavian period. However, that doesn't stop me from picking up a coin just because it's cool! |
