Introduction	I anaesthetise people for a living(hence the sad attempt to use the name of an anaesthetic in the title). Getting some one off to sleep is actually much more difficult than you imagine, and I can assure you, no one has dropped off to sleep on account of reading my blog. At least, the ones who have read it so far. I have every confidence my blog readership will reach double figures. Some day. Soon.
