| Introduction | THE STORY BEHIND THE APOCALYPSE! Inspired by one of our other friends, this notebook was created as a way to pass the time and pass notes without having to keep track of who's turn it was to write back or anything. Soon it became a monster- it became our addiction!- and a place where our individual and combined psychoses ran free. It survived two entire summers, buried in a bedroom closet, and documents the transition from Sophomore to Junior, and Junior to Senior. Our group often wrote constantly about absolutely nothing... The Notebook of Doom became a staple of our friendship, not to mention our greatest source for uncontrollable laughter. Now, nearly two years after graduation, we have decided to compile the two years of the Notebook of doom in all of its random glory to help us keep in touch, and keep laughing. |
