About me

Introduction Born and raised in Chennai. After graduating in software engineering and later in Management studies, I spent a few years enjoying corporate life in the IT industry. Life took a turn once my son was born. I became a full time mother. With my world revolving around my son, I started rediscovering myself. Our mutual love for stories and the fun we have while interacting with his friends inspired me to start a club for little kids. Here, we read/tell stories, act them out, discuss important child-world affairs, play word games, do math/analytical worksheets and doodle. The aim of this blog is mostly to journal what we do in class (especially, the drawing bit because it is easy to capture). When time permits, I write about ways to help children get into the habit of reading and express themselves better. This is based on my personal experience and observation. I hope this will lead to healthy discussions and interactions among readers.
Interests Buying books (in the hope of read them sometime), simple cooking, chit-chatting with my parents, watching movies and tele-series with my partner. Most of all I love reading picture books with my son.
