Introduction | I was born in China and immigrated to the United States when I was 16. I received my doctorate in psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Presently, I work and teach in the field of child development from University of Pittsburgh. Among my favorite projects are my collaborative efforts with the producers of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood to help teachers/parents help children transition into school-age. In addition, I work to improve care and caring in Chinese orphanages, after my wife and I adopted two lovely daughters from China. |
