| Introduction | Christ has completely transformed me; it hits me daily how much I need Him and how He is working in all areas of my life. My life is His and everything I do in the great adventure is for Him. Thus I write: deep stuff just in an everyday sort of way. I'm a mom of three precocious boys, foster mom to an adorable foster daughter and wife to my awesome husband Brian. Though I live in the South, I am still a Southern Californian at heart since I think flip flops are acceptable in any weather! I try to be the best mom and wife I can be despite struggling with fibromyalgia which makes life interesting and we all deal with it with a lot of laughter, some tears and with my faith in Christ Jesus. As a foster parent, I am often at Social Services attempting to keep our youngest son from pushing the panic buttons he inevitably finds. You can find me reading, taking photos, crafting, and especially writing when not chasing children, of course! As a side note, I think I will probably be sleep deprived for another ten years... | Favorite Movies | I have a bad habit of continually quoting my favorite movies. Good luck understanding me if you haven't seen Princess Bride ;) |
| Favorite Books | I love anything by C.S. Lewis! Among these, I particularly like "Till We Have Faces", "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and "Mere Christianity". I also enjoy Jane Austen, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, J.R.R. Tolkein, Anne Bronte, and George MacDonald. I do read contemporary works too! |
