| Introduction | Well, I was born on my birthday, at the ripe age of zero, without a shirt on my back or a single thing I could call my own. In retrospect, I suppose I’ve come a long way. The doctor declared me a baby boy… A bouncing baby boy, in fact. And lucky, too, for the doctor’s gloves were a little slick that day. I’d like to thank my mother for being there for me; I don’t know how I could have done it without her. Some will tell you that I was very much attached to my mother back then, and it's true - but all that changed the moment I fell into that nurse's arms - she knew how to push my buttons - and since then I've found some of those connections cut. Those were sad days; I found myself crying nearly every night. But I've overcome those times. I've built character, I've changed my diet, I've grown some balls and I went out and walked all over this world. And I never did - and never will - forget where I started.
