Introduction	My daughter was born July 31st, 2010 - and nothing has been the same since then! When I was pregnant, I ended up getting really frustrated by all the pregnancy books' assumptions that all their readers have loving, supportive mates at home, falling all over themselves to make their readers' lives easier and more pleasant (uh-oh - my book didn't come with that! can I exchange it?) SO, this blog is intended to provide information and support from someone who's very recently been there! What an adventure!
Interests	Baby brains, and how they develop, child psychology, quality music and art, taking my baby and dog for walks in the great outdoors, practicing playfulness, developing patience, studying to be a nurse-midwife, offering support, encouragement, and information for other single moms and moms-in-the-making!
Favorite movies	anything that's either wildly inspirational, uproariously funny, or preferably, both
Favorite music	anything with a great beat which helps me to feel uplifted and nourished
Favorite books	Flying Solo While Pregnant - currently being written by yours truly, Hypnobirthing, everything by Tom Robbins (for perspective, and temporary escape)
