| Occupation | Stillbirthday-certified Birth & Bereavement Doula |
| Location | Mississippi, United States |
| Introduction | Born and raised in a small town outside of Greenville, MS, I have lived many other places and have always come home. ~*~ Currently I live in a tinyhouse in Prentiss County, where I operate my own business as a birth and death doula. ~*~ A doula is a person (usually a woman) who provides emotional, spiritual, non-medical support to families prenatally, during birth, and postpartum. I felt a calling to serve in the very deep, particular space where birth and bereavement meet--through miscarriage, stillbirth, adoption, neonatal death or otherwise. Throughout the family's pregnancy, birth, farewell and healing journey, I act as a constant support and resource for the family's questions and needs. ~*~ This is my sacred work, thank you for witnessing me as I witness others. ~*~ |
| Favorite music | Byzantine chant, shape-note singing, Tori Amos, A Fine Frenzy, well-made mixtapes, salsa music, anything with a good beat to dance to. |
