Introduction	I like to ruminate on all manner of theological, biblical, historical, and cultural topics. I believe followers of Jesus need to be more like members of Issachar's tribe, able to read the times.
Interests	Love to read history, theology, and "issues" type books and articles.
Favorite movies	I'm not a big movie guy. "Wild Hogs" made me laugh/cry. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it, but I think my favorite movie is still "Chariots of Fire." Sappy, I know. "Far and Away" reminds me of my family's story: my Scotch-Irish paternal grandfather made the "run" into the Cherokee Strip in Oklahoma in the late 1800s.
Favorite music	Eclectic. I love most classic rock, but also classical, jazz, blues, R&B, country, folk, bluegrass.
Favorite books	The Bible (really), Spiritual Emotions (Robert Roberts)
