My blogs
| Introduction | This site aims to highlight for the average investor some of the key techniques and mindsets required for successful investing, following current and topical trends in the process to relevantly make its point. It aims not to provide specific stock "tips" and should in no way be misconstrued as financial advice for one particular person or group of people. Rather its goal is to provide individuals with examples of the way world events can be analysed to make interesting and often profitable decisions (I’ll try to put an Aussie spin on this wherever possible. We’re not all American). It aims not to be dramatic and bearish, and say that the world is going to collapse every morning (then tell everyone it was right the day it does). Above all it hopes to highlight some of the interesting phenomenon in the world of economics and finance which I hope will intrigue and excite readers as much as they have me over the years. A butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil… and causes an investment opportunity in Texas. Will you make the connection in time? |
