| Introduction | Born in Northern Ireland, married in 1955, 3 children and 5 grandchildren, degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in the early 1950s,retired in 1995 and been very busy since as a trustee of several charitable bodies, treasurer of three and currently involved in the Northfield Eco Centre. Concern about the environment goes back to reading 'Limits to Growth' in 1972 and was involved in the precurser of the Green Party and then in the International Solar Energy Society. |
