About me

Introduction The Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice was founded in Detroit during September 2002 at a meeting of over 30 people at Wayne State University. Nearly six years later in 2008, a sister organization, the Moratorium NOW! Coalition to Stop Foreclosures and Evictions was established as a direct result of the economic crisis sweeping the United States and the world. Both of these organizations meet on a weekly basis to plan activities related to myriad of issues involving anti-imperialism, social justice, anti-racism, state repression, environmental justice, gender equality, self-determination and global revolution. The purpose of this website is to serve as a platform for revolutionary news, progressive thought and theoretical formulations.
