| Introduction | I am Onica Dick aka The Poetess Neki. I am from the beautiful twin island, Caribbean state of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. I worked at a local newspaper for 10 years in my country. My main role was administrative. However, as the years progressed I had additional roles which included writing articles and even acting in the position of Editor at least two times. In one of my previous jobs I was a school teacher in a local secondary (high) school. The main subjects I taught were History, African Studies and Moral Education. I have always had a passion for poetry, creativity and writing. The purpose of this blog is to feature anything positive happening here in my country especially on the island of Tobago where I reside and also if there is any one from my country who lives in any other part of the globe, I will also do features on that as well. So get ready for an exciting journey on this blog page. |
