| Introduction | I am 49 on the verge of 50. I got married late--34 to a college professor. I got married because all my friends were getting married but he and I were really not well suited to each other. After many years of being single again, I found a great guy and remarried when I was 45. My siblings and I always joke that we are late bloomers. My brother who just turned 47 is expecting his first baby. I love to read and belong to a book group which has been together since 1994. I love to travel--I've been to England, France and Costa Rica (Canada and Mexico too, but they hardly count). I love wine. I love my stepkids. I love all our pets (2 dogs and 3 cats). I love all my girlfriends, including my boss who is also a girlfriend. I love my life! |
