Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Because cherry is a deep red and a lighter red is strawberry... and since the raspberry is the cousin of the blackberry, then it is blue. Also, a good ripe raspberry will turn a dark color, but let out to set, it will sometimes turn blue. Just a theory.
