| Introduction | I'm a 27 years young Clinical Dietitian, saving lives one apple at a time. Seriously. I work in the hospital world promoting healthy eating and teaching therapeutic diets for medical conditions(diabetes, cancer,surgery,heart and renal diseases)as well as weight loss. The title is really a fancy way of saying 'certified, licensed nutritionist'. We like to say the fancy names due to our fancy school loans (and EXcruciating hours of Organic Chem..awful). My goal is to provide practical tools for people to eat smarter and more intently (and to enjoy it!). I will also feed you recent nutrition-related news, and tell you the real science & truth behind fad diets. If you get a few chuckles out of the blog, well- hey! you've already burned off 1/16th of the jelly donut you had with your morning coffee and I've already enriched your life. Hopefully you will learn something new or think about nutrition and food in a different way. Eat it up! |
