| Introduction | A bit about myself? I am a wife of thirteen years, an unworthy other half to a man who loves me like Christ loves the church. Why God chose me for him is one of the great mysteries of my life, but I take what He gives without question, and I receive His gifts with a grateful heart. I am the mother of three children: two rambunctious boys and a little girl who wears a princess crown while she plays football with her brothers. My life is a mess in all the ways you would expect it to be: a mountain of laundry that refuses to move. Cobwebs in the corners. Dust on the floors. But the mess, it goes deeper, and I know what it means to be broken into a thousand pieces. I know there is goodness and mercy in the breaking, and grace and beauty in the refining that follows. And I am thankful for it all. So, I should be honest with you right from the start: I am not a writer. I am quite simply a lover of the written word, and am, on occasion, inspired to pen my own thoughts. This blog is about finding the magnificent glory in the mundane, capturing the depth of His majesty through words, and encouraging others as members of His one Body. |
