Introduction	My wife Shirley and I are retired and live on Mayne Island, which is one of the South Gulf Islands between Vancouver and Victoria, BC. After spending most of our life building things for others, we are now enjoying doing a little building for ourselves... renovating our home, building rock walls, new decks and now are finishing a major renovation... a carport that connects the house and garage with an art studio above. In the winter we live in Tucson, Arizona where we enjoy playing pickle ball, golf, hiking and exploring new places.
