Introduction | I have been the coordinator of Lewisham Green Party since 2005 (now in a job-share). I am also Lewisham Green Party's representative at the London Federation of Green Parties. I was No. 2 on the Green Party's London list for the European elections in 2009 behind Jean Lambert, London's Green MEP, and am currently on the International Committee of the national party. I was one of six Green Councillors in Lewisham from 2006-2010. I was on the Public Accounts Committee and Audit Panel and was Green Group spokesperson for budget and finances. I am still involved in local community groups and activities in Ladywell and regularly leaflet in the ward. In my day job I work as a project officer in the NHS. Before moving to London in 2002 I worked as a research assistant in the European Parliament and for European and international NGOs, primarily in the disability field. |
