| Introduction | I was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. I have 3 daughters and 10 grandchildren. I moved to Troy, MO in 1998 and to Green Country, Oklahoma in 2009. I have been married and divorced and widowed and remarried - that's how I got to Missouri! We are "homesteading" on 20 acres owned by my brother and his wife, who will also be settling here in December. We have started from scratch and are in our 2nd year here. There is still lots to be done, but it is an adventure. I imagine my blogging will have to do with how we cope and what we do and life in general. I am in the late autumn of my years (65) and I love following some of the other blogs. However they seem to be by young people and so I thought I'd give an "older" perspective! Enough. I hope that if you read my thoughts and ramblings they will bring some peace or light bulb moments or "something" to you. |
| Interests | Reading, decorating, raising my Guinea Girls, establishing our little "farm", helping others, and enjoying all God's creations. I love older people and inspirational quotes and contemporary Christian music. I am a born again Christian and enjoy studying the Bible - although I'm not good at quoting it. :) I find it difficult enough to try to be Christ like everyday. If you know what I mean. |
