Introduction	I've been writing since I could hold a pencil, but this is my first attempt at blogging. Throughout high school and college I wrote journals-pretty books filled with random poetry and opinionated rants- which were "published" as they were passed around by my friends. I don't yet have a "goal" or vision for this blog. Despite having grown up, I'm still full of random poetry and opinionated rants and I imagine that those will find their way into these "pages". I'm enjoying haiku right now--inspired by lesson planning for the upcoming first weeks of school. Haiku are extremely efficient--I can write them in my head while I walk and remember them when I get home.
