Introduction This personal blog is about the consequences of being identified (diagnosed) as autistic late in life. All opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent the views of my employers. I am one of many autistic academics. I do not speak for all autistic people. My research areas are mainly Music and Computing, both 'special interests' which I have been fortunate to overthink for a living. I am interested in autism research, but I am not an expert. My aim is to reflect on the consequences of being identified in ways which may be of interest to others. My academic profile.
