| Introduction | Fran Baker is the author of fifteen novels, with another in progress. The Talk of the Town, set in 1933, and was released in hardcover in September 2011. This blog was inspired by the diaries of her mother, Ruth Catherine McKenzie McCoy. In addition to her mother's actual diary entries, Fran has taken the liberty of adding historical notes, photos and "old time" recipes to share with readers.
