IntroductionI've had a love of food and cooking since I was a child. Food was always a thing to be made, eaten, served, or conversed about. I may have been groomed since infancy-- my mother told me stories of how she used to make 80 loaves of pita every week, spending hours in the kitchen. I can imagine the smells of the yeast and cooking bread permeating my infantile nostrils and satiating my then developing brain with warm memories and a comfort in the smell of food (namely carbs). My mommy and me. I still recall my sharpest memories of my childhood being the rhythmic thumping of the knife and refreshing fragrance of green as my mom chopped bundles of parsley for tabbouleh at dinner, or my dad dilligently mixing the meat for kibbeh with aromatic onion and fresh red chile. Surely, without my family I wouldn't be writing this. Without their guidance, this flirtatious food affair would not be nurtured.
InterestsI am involved in fitness having dabbled in work as a personal trainer and currently practicing as a Dietitian/Diabetes Educator. I also enjoy planning and hosting parties, namely focusing on the food within them! Among many other things, I enjoy the photography of food and nature.
